Dr. Stephen Sussman is now the Chair of the Palm Beach County Consumer Affairs Hearing Board (CAHB). He previously served as Vice-Chair of the Board and welcomes the opportunity to continue serving in this new role.

The CAHB is a seven-member board appointed by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. It serves in an advisory capacity to the County Commission on consumer affairs matters and as an appeals hearing board for matters arising under a number of County consumer protection and regulatory ordinances.

As a professor of public administration at the Andreas School of Business and Public Administration at Barry University, he has spent much of his career teaching and writing about government, public policy, administrative decision-making and public service. Serving on the CAHB gives him the opportunity to bring that academic experience to the real-world decisions and responsibilities of local government.

He looks forward to serving as Chair and working with his fellow board members and the dedicated staff of the Palm Beach County Public Safety Department, Division of Consumer Affairs, on behalf of Palm Beach County residents.
