Barry University has been named to Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s (PTK) 2026 Transfer Honor Roll, recognizing the University’s commitment to supporting transfer students and creating pathways to bachelor’s degree completion.

The Transfer Honor Roll recognizes 275 four-year colleges and universities nationwide for their excellence in helping community college transfer students succeed. Institutions are evaluated across key areas, including transfer student outcomes, credit mobility, financial support, admissions practices, and campus engagement.

Institutions selected for the Transfer Honor Roll are evaluated through a comprehensive review process using data from the National Student Clearinghouse and information collected through PTK Connect, Phi Theta Kappa’s online platform connecting high-achieving community college students with transfer opportunities.

Among this year’s recognized institutions, transfer students achieved strong outcomes, including an average 77% bachelor’s degree completion rate, 88% of transferred credits applied toward a degree, and 76% of transfer students receiving merit-based financial aid.
