Dr. Baird was hired as an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Campbellsville University in KY.

Dr. Oscar Gonzalez

Dr. Gonzalez will be accepting the position of Director of Social Work department at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Marlene Holmes

As sports social worker, she presented her first workshop as Dr. Holmes! The presentation focused on leadership development, athletic identity, and mental health. She will be working with student-athletes at Wesleyan.

Dr. Alex Wright
DSW | Class of 2022
Dr. Alex Wright provided a special professional development presentation for Barry Social Work students in honor of Veterans Day titled “Barriers to Mental Health Treatment Among Black and Hispanic Veterans.” The presentation focused on the barriers to minority mental health utilization and provides innovative advances to increase health equity to close the health gap.
