Barry goes to the Society for Photographic Education Conference

The photography instructors from Fine Arts School Sara Rytekke and Remijin Camping, alongside with Photography majors Theresa Afcha, Jocelyn Flores and Bruna Marcon Weber went to Saint Louis, Missouri for the 61st  Society for Photographic Education (SPE) Conference from March 21st to 23rd.

Among the activities, there were lectures about photography, art, education and the intersection with them, photography workshops, portfolio reviews, academic career mentoring, exhibitions and more. Indeed, Remijin Camping took part in two SPE members exhibitions.

Students also had opportunity to showcase their artwork through the conference program, like in the Portfolio walkthrough, where artists would display their pieces and conference participants were able to literally walk through and talk about the art on show.

Besides that, all three students volunteered in the conference activities supporting the event organization. Likewise, Barry Faculty members took part in the educators fair to spread the Bucky word and promote Barry Photography Programs.
