1st International Cadaver Workshop: A Multinational Podiatric Education Success

Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, in collaboration with Grupo Internacional de Podología Resolutiva, an organization from Spain, successfully hosted the 1st International Cadaver Workshop. Spanning from Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 11, 2023, the workshop proved to be an immersive educational experience. Its comprehensive agenda encompassed a full day of didactic lectures followed by two days of hands-on practical training conducted at the University’s Anatomy Lab. Esteemed lecturers hailed from diverse regions, featuring Dr. Narmo Ortiz representing the United States, and Dr. Fernando Gil Racionero, Dr. Jaime Moral, Dr. Oscar Alvarez-Calderon Iglesias, and Dra. Paqui Duran contributing their expertise from Spain. Notably, the event attracted participants from Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, as well as various countries across South America, fostering a truly international and enriching learning environment.
