Barry University Hosts Interdisciplinary BLS and CPR Training to Enhance Student Preparedness

Christopher Crespo, Program Coordinator for the EMS program at the Miami Shores campus, in collaboration with Dr. Stephanie Bingham from the College of Arts and Sciences, conducted a joint Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR class for both staff and students. Participants gained essential life-saving skills and practiced various techniques on manikins. They were trained in the use of diverse tools and adjuncts for rescuing individuals in cardiac arrest. This class exemplifies Barry University’s commitment to cross-disciplinary training, enhancing students’ educational achievements and preparing them for real-life situations.
