Bahamas Medical Mission Provides Lifesaving Podiatric Care

The Barry University Bahamas Medical Mission Trip offers critical podiatric and diabetic wound care to the Bahamas’ residents, especially those facing amputation due to untreated conditions. Initiated after Hurricane Dorian in 2019, this ongoing mission—supported by the university and the Bahamas Ministry of Health—aims to improve health outcomes and quality of life through regular visits and expert care from medical students and faculty.
