The AI Center at Barry University continues to demonstrate remarkable momentum with the success of its third Inspire Hackathon. This latest event delivered tangible, real-world ideas and solutions moving beyond theoretical exercises. One student team partnered directly with a local business to restore a Google Ads account with existing credit, optimize a Google Business Profile for immediate visibility, develop a high-conversion, SEO-friendly landing page, and present a comprehensive strategic audit with a clear roadmap for growth. This level of execution highlights the Center’s commitment to applied learning and measurable results.

By pairing student teams with businesses from the Branches, Inc. community, the Inspire Hackathon has evolved into a dynamic platform where innovation and community engagement intersect. The event showcased a wide range of advanced work, including augmented reality explorations, Figma-based enterprise product design prototypes, and custom-developed health applications tailored to client needs.

The success of the event was made possible through the collaboration and support of key contributors, including Steve Arman of Branches, Inc., as well as judges Christina Costanzo, Katya Matusevich, and Sarah Lewis. The dedicated students from the DX Lab, AI Society, and AI Center staff also contributed to the event’s success.

As the Inspire Hackathon series continues to grow, it is clear that the AI Center is delivering a full range of skill development, empowering students to build, apply, and scale real-world solutions through collaboration with businesses and the local community.
