Barry University’s student-powered creative engine, the Barry Advertising Company, has soared to new heights—earning 21 major advertising and communications awards in the 2024–2025 cycle. Among these honors is the prestigious MarCom Platinum Team Achievement Award, recognizing the exceptional strength, innovation, and collective creativity of the entire Ad Co team. This year marks one of the most decorated periods in our program’s history—and a powerful affirmation of the talent and purpose driving Barry University’s storytelling.

A Record-Breaking Sweep of MarCom Awards

In 2025 alone, Barry Ad Co brought home 11 MarCom Awards, including six Platinumone Gold, and four Honorable Mentions.

This builds on our success in 2024, where the team earned three additional MarCom Awards, including Platinum wins for the popular “Tortured Poets of Barry U” social media campaign and the vibrant “It’s Giving” fundraising campaign.

Case Awards: Best of District III

Barry Ad Co’s innovative storytelling was also recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), earning Best of District III for the Barry Ad Co Promotional Video. This distinction honors work that rises above the best in the southeastern United States—a remarkable achievement for a student-powered creative team.

Educational Advertising Awards: Excellence in Higher Ed Marketing

The 2025 Educational Advertising Awards showcased Barry’s strengths across digital storytelling, student life, admissions marketing, and social content—recognizing the University with:
