On September 30, 2025, Barry University formally announced the appointment of three distinguished leaders to serve as Deans within the College of Health Professions & Medical Sciences. This milestone marks a significant step forward in strengthening their commitment to academic excellence, innovative research, and student preparation to meet the evolving needs of the complex healthcare industry.
School of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Madelin Ramil brings more than 25 years of clinical and academic experience to her new role as Dean of Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine. She is a proud Barry alumna with a distinguished career that includes leadership in clinical practice, residency training, global health initiatives, and international education.
School of Nursing
Dr. Audrey P. Miller joins as Dean of Barry University’s School of Nursing with more than 30 years of experience as a clinician, educator, and advocate. She is also a Barry alumna and nationally recognized nurse leader, she has made significant contributions to pediatric transplant care, health equity research, and nursing education.
School of Mental Health and Social Work
Dr. Rodolfo Bonnin, a psychologist, educator, and researcher, brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of education, health, and mental health to his role as the inaugural Dean of Barry University’s School of Social Work and Mental Health. He is a champion of academic excellence and student well-being and has led innovative work in medical education.
The recent restructuring of the College of Health Professions & Medical Sciences under the leadership of Executive Dean Dr. Eneida Roldán, combined with the appointments of Dr. Ramil, Dr. Miller, and Dr. Bonnin, reflects Barry University’s ongoing dedication to academic growth, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community impact.
