Barry University is taking student support to the next level with the launch of Adrian, their brand-new AI Student Success Assistant. Adrian isn’t your average chatbot: she’s smart, approachable, and available 24/7 to make sure students get the answers they need, when they need them.

Adrian was created to stand in as a trusted colleague who’s always calm, clear, and ready with the right answer. From big questions about financial aid, housing, and graduation requirements to quick fixes like resetting a password at 2 a.m., Adrian makes sure Barry students feel supported every step of the way.

She anticipates next steps, points students toward the right resources, and even knows when to step aside and connect students with a human right away. Adrian gives Barry’s staff more time to focus on the moments that matter most: mentoring, problem-solving, and building personal connections.

Adrian is a part of Barry’s broader commitment to preparing students for the future by embracing AI across campus. Following the launch of the AI Center & DX Lab, the creation of a new MBA concentration in AI Strategy, and a certificate in AI, Barry is embedding AI into the curriculum and using it to improve student experience. Adrian reflects this forward-thinking approach, showing how AI can enhance (not replace), the human relationships at the heart of Barry’s mission.
