Congratulations to Dr. Edgar Sy, one of our renowned Podiatrists at the Barry University Foot and Ankle Institute and a proud Barry University alumnus (Class of 2019) for being recognized as “North Miami Beach’s Best Podiatrist of 2024.”

Dr. Sy is a Fellowship-Trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon from the prestigious Weil Foot and Ankle Institute in Chicago, and current Assistant Professor of Surgery at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he teaches Surgery to 3rd-year Podiatric medical students and will serve as Residency Director at the surgical program, Jackson North Medical Center July 2024.

Dr. Sy is a distinguished double-board surgeon ABPM Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine & Orthopedics and ABFAS Board Qualified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle and Foot Surgery.

His dedication to patient care and surgical education sets the standard and exemplifies Barry University’s legacy of excellence in foot and ankle medicine through his dedication to patient care and surgical education. Barry University is proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor!
