Here’s to the feet, the toes, the soles, the ankles, and the doctors who treat them. Every October 8th, we celebrate International Podiatry Day (IPD) and bring awareness to podiatric medicine, foot health and quality care.
This International Podiatry Day, we honor the School of Podiatric Medicine at Barry University for always being two steps ahead. One of only 11 podiatric medical schools in the country, it emphasizes the importance of preparing students to diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, deformities, or other conditions of the foot or ankle with compassionate, socially responsible care. And its Foot and Ankle Institute operates 3 clinics that treat patients from high profile sports teams to those in need in the local community. With their board-certified podiatrists, advanced treatment options, academic backing, and clinical trials, they always make sure their patients receive the highest level of medically advanced care.
