Dr. Ead will tell you he is most proud of being accepted as the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA) fellow at the University of Southern California, mentored by Doctors David Armstrong and Laura Shin. My favorite courses were Podiatric Medicine 1 and 2, which laid the groundwork for understanding lower extremity pathologies and wound management in podiatric medical care. At Barry University, I engaged in numerous clinical research studies under Doctors Robert Snyder and Cherison Cuffy, resulting in over 12 published articles in peer-reviewed journals by the time I graduated from BUSPM. I initially chose Barry University for its Masters in Biomedical Science program, which allowed me to explore various healthcare fields and research opportunities, and I was inspired by my mentor Dr. Robert Snyder to pursue podiatric medicine. The abundance of clinical and research possibilities at Barry University solidified my decision to continue my medical education and research journey at BUSPM.
